Dried Flowers

Here are some dried flowers which I received Mother's Day from my wonderful husband.  I think they will be better added under glass however I was looking for ways to display them.  Ideas anyone?

Chunky Book Pages

Thought I'd add some pages I made last spring for an Artfest chunky book.  This is one of my favorite photos of my sister saluting in her cute patriotic dress.  I handmade those flowers I used, following a Youtube video..... quite easy although time consuming.  I added sparkle sprays, but they got their main vintage effect from the water.

Simple Free Expression Deco

Many people ask me, just what is a deco?  Well, it is a small book which travels around the world to several artists who fill it's pages with their own unique art.  Each artist creates their page and sends it along to the next person to work in it.  This process can take a few months to many years to return home.  Many times the book... or as I like to say, booklet as it is so small, is made for someone else, not yourself.... in that case someone gets a nice surprise sometime in the future.  This is an example of a very simple artistic deco for a Free Expression swap.

Made as a part of a  surprise Rak, I crafted a simple clothespin, staining it with Tim Holtz new colored stains and adding some gear embellishments.  I hope it is used and enjoyed!
